Dream shatters yet remains alive

When I am writing this blog, I am sitting in a control room. This control room is made temporarily for the accommodation of the guests who came for the YPO meet in our township. Well, don’t bug yourself searching the full form of YPO. I will let you know.

Let me tell you a story of a chemical engineer of 21st century.
He had a vision in his life. He wanted to be a refiner. He loved playing with the technical stuff. But when he was an under performer in school his confidence was rocked ruthlessly. He composed himself and went into an engineering college located in an absconded part of this country. Though it’s very close to a present software hub but the people of that part have always loved staying in the darkness of ignorance. He had to struggle his way out towards the light - that always eluded him.

His way was full of thorns but still he had the courage to pursuit his dream and finally one day he achieved it. He became an engineer who knows something about refining and joined an organization which popularly known as first generation refiners of the world.

But now after he joined this organization he had another dream. He wanted to work in the refinery at night just to have a close look at the refinery during night time.

But when he was been assigned a job at night he spent the night writing blog of his own. Now you might just wonder why this particular individual or you may call him a “crack”, is doing so. Well, the answer to this is very simple. He never enjoyed the job assigned to him for that particular night. He was asked to work like any other manager standing in the reception of a hotel n saying “How may I help you” to every single person he comes across. He wanted to do something very different but was never offered a chance to follow up his dream.

Well, you may just think who this peculiar character. It’s me. Who else can be such a big bugger?

Now you may want to know what he has done the whole night.
He took care of his dream and left it alone so that he can nurture it for some other special night. He dreams to make it into his world of refining where he will take a stroll after supper in his nightly errand. He dreams to become the emperor of his own world where he thinks he can breathe peacefully.

oh i was just about to forget enlightening you about YPO. It's Young President's Organization.

Hyderabad Blues 3

Hey people! I hope you still remember me. Well, I guess you know the story of Varun in Hyderabad Blues. I mean the two versions with so many twists and turns in the story, with an emotional touch in it. Have you guys ever thought what happened later? Come on, how can you leave them alone with such a crazy girl around. Huh! You may be thinking about her age and normally girls at this age won’t have the guts to leave her hubby. But Ashwini is not a normal girl and Hyderabad Blues have never given you the story that defines normality. Rather it gives you the stories of how all hell broke lose and redefines the meaning of life, home and of course love. Well, here comes the third part of the story.

Fifteen years later.

Now, Varun works in a multinational company in US of A and Ashwini went along with her hubby to try out her luck there. Needless to mention they lived happily ever after. Oh! Forgot! They have a son 14 years old. Varun as usual wasn’t ready for it but had too. After all at some point we males have too give up our chauvinistic attitude. Actually we are too weak at heart. But, varun had a great deal. His condition was after they get a child they won’t stay in India anymore. He never wanted to get his son influenced by the age old tradition that he had to fight against. Right now they may call themselves a very happy family. But how long will it last, is the million dollar question. Living happily ever after can be for about 15 years this time. After all this is Ashwini and she can just go off anytime. She needs just half an excuse for that.

Well, life was good for them and their child was growing up. Sometimes they had some fight in the middle but it was the child that kept them going along with the relationship. One fine day, Vijay, their son, woke up and joined them for the breakfast with a request that he wants to see his country. His reason was pretty simple. He wanted to come closer to his roots and cultures. Varun got scared. After all that was the reason that he went back for and the rest is history. Still he couldn’t do much about it. Fifteen years later he also needed a break and so did his wife. In this fifteen years varun’s parents passed away. They only had that house but the locality developed a lot. People over there became more civilized, at least they don’t play music early morning at a high pitch. Vijay started loving the place in few days and then he started getting closer to his people, and finally he proved that he is no exception. He met a girl and started falling for her. The girl resides in their locality. This time varun couldn’t say a word. Before he could actually get into it these young gun have ignited the fire and now Vijay wants to stay back in India. This really irked varun. After all he is a human being too. After he puts on a shear hard work in America for years and prepares a platform for himself something brings him back to India and then all hell breaks lose. This time he was determined to go back and this led to a lot of problem within the family. Son started questioning father. His reason was if father can do that why cannot son. On top of that Ashwini supported her son as she was just waiting for an excuse to stay back in India. This makes Varun to fly off one day without informing anybody about it. Vijay starts his schooling in Hyderabad and he stays with his mother for the next 6 years without Varun. Meanwhile, varun starts his new business and the intensity of phone calls starts decreasing. After a few years it stops. Vijay finds India to be a sweet home. He did something his father couldn’t do in his lifetime. One day varun comes back for a month and finds it hard to relate to his family members. His wife, his son, treats him as a guest and this irks him a lot. At this stage he had only two options to go for. One, forget everything and try to come closer to them and in few months become one of them; or else just get along with his life; the way it has been all these years. Well, you people must be going crazy to know about the end. Alright, before I tell you that just answer my question. Don’t you people know Varun? He says the day you stop asking “WHY” is the day you die, and he never wanted to die. So this time he flew off and finally their relationship ends. Now the question is marriages are made in heaven, but do they always end up at a happier note? Take for example Varun – Ashwini. No doubt they loved each other a lot, but were they really happy? They broke up a number of times and came back just because they loved each other. But this love could never make them happy. Virtually both of them ended up being unsuccessful in their life. And now they are out in an exile for the rest of their life. May be they are still legally bonded but I doubt whether they have any warmth in their relationship. Well, I don’t know whether this relationship will have some more twist to offer but for now I feel it’s all over. I think death can only get them the peace they searched for throughout their life, and probably after that they can live happily ever after. Of course if Varun doesn’t drop to me to ask how can they live after death?
